Blame It on the Moon, Shannon Chapman’s newest release after her debut EP, is a grooveable mid-tempo neo-soul track with a laid back beat. Smooth, decisive vocals take turns with punchy sax and a silky flute solo over a lush bed of piano, Rhodes, pads and synth bass.

Lyrically, Shannon flirts with the idea of learning to accept things you can’t control, chalk it up to the mysteries of the universe, and move on - easier said than done, but if that doesn’t work, one can always bliss out to this track when things get tough.
